Scheimpflug Suite, 2009–2010
Lightjet prints, 100 x 100 cm ea.

A work-in-progress, this suite of photographs is comprised of 24 images shot isometrically, evoking the Scheimpflug principle, a geometric rule initially used for perspective correction in aerial photography. The suite in its entirety contains all three-sided views of a die and attempts to negotiate pictorially the philosophical scope of Vilém Flusser’s photographic universe, as stipulated by the author in his treatise on the medium, Towards a Philosophy of Photography.
