1/1
A reconfigured film poster of Kubrick’s 1999 film Eyes Wide Shut with the primary actors’ likenesses deleted and all original text removed. The written warning, received by Tom Cruise’s character in the film’s narrative, is here superimposed using the same typeface (Futura) and color-scheme as the original poster text. Divorced from its original narrative context and redeployed pictorially, the written admonition is shifted into another pictorial register to provoke alternate readings of the text.
